Payab

Payab is a structure for easy access of the users to Qanat water. It is a canal that approaches the Qanat from ground with stairs in a slight slope.Payab provides access to Qanat water for the people.
Public Payabs were constructed for public use and private ones were constructed inside houses.
Public Payabs were made in different districts to support the tradespeople and other people for drinking water, ablution, wash etc. as well as relaxing in cool space of Payab at the water.
Since Qasaba Qanat’s outlet is out of the town, therefore there are not any Payabs in the city.
All Payabs at this Qanat have all been made by downfall of the shafts, located outside the town.
Qasaba Qanat meets the loose soil, shafts are vulnerable and gradually some of the shafts have turned into Payab.
