Historical texture of Riab Village
Riab Village is located in the 5th km on the southwest of Gonabad. The works left in this village historically date back to the Qajar and Safavid eras. The village has a collection of old buildings, a wind catchers, a basin, a castle, a bathroom, a mosque and a water reservoir with a very beautiful architecture and one of the remains of the city that maintains its historical value.
Riab Village is currently considered as one of the villages of tourism destination in Iran, and some of its works have been registered in the National Iranian Book List. On the other hand, the tomb of Abu Mansour Riabi, from the Tugrul ministers and the founder of the Seljuk government, is in the village.
